Asked how she got into designing, the “Hitch” actress said New York & Company approached her with what she called “this wonderful opportunity.
“I was like, ‘Are you sure?  Me?’” And I’m so happy.  This has been the most amazing creative experience,” Mendes, 40, said.

 TESTIMONIALS

“I have been in Corporate America for over 20 years and never have I come across a program that inspires and equips people to be and do their best in all aspects of their life. This program is a must for teams and individuals to achieve big goals.”

– Brandon Dangerfield, VP of Sales Operations, Fortune 500 Compan
_____________

“What would happen if companies allowed their people to dream, perform far above what they thought possible, and achieve economic security? Your program, Thinking into Results, has the potential to redefine the economic landscape for the world, provided people have an open mind.

Thinking into Results has greatly expanded my possibility space and I know my consulting practice will grow quickly because I see it growing in my mind. I have introduced this program to one of my premiere clients and though the “experiment” has just started, they will be a different company. The executive team has already changed and is thinking much bigger thoughts with much higher aspirations.

And to think this all started with my short unintended and unexpected meeting with Bob Proctor. I have never felt more alive and I suspect my client feels the same way.”

- Gary McQuarrie, Grayrock & Associates, LLC
____________

When I first met Bob Proctor I was in a state of loss. Tragedy had struck my family , my business was failing and I was not a happy guy. I knew I had to do something or I would lose everything I had remaining. Bob Proctor taught me more in a few months than I had learned my entire life. He taught me how to use my mind to control and steer the direction of my life. Bob teaches in a very simple, specific and clear manner. I can honestly say I am a completely different person now than before I studied Bob's material. He is the best in the world at what he teaches and I would recommend his teaching to anyone. I have had the honor of spending some time with Bob during some of his events and I can tell you he lives what he teaches. It has been a very satisfying journey being able to learn from him. I will be using Bob's teachings for the rest of my life. I am extremely excited to live my life each day as it keeps getting better. If you are at all interested in making your dreams come true and living the life of your dreams study with Bob and take it all in. You will not regret it. It will be the best thing you could do for yourself and your loved ones.

The inspiration is the golden era of Hollywood stars “like Monica Vitti and Gina Lollobrigida.  And … the obvious choice, Sophia Loren. I think she’s kind of everyone’s style icon,” Mendes said.

The line is full of items that can be mixed and matched, including jackets, jumpsuits and even bodysuits.
“Ladies, please don’t be scared,” Mendes said, laughing. “This is something that I’ve loved since high school.  And it’s a bodysuit.”
The jewelry is inspired by Mendes’s own vintage collection.
Mendes also shared a few of her beauty secrets with “GMA.”
“I think a great beauty tip, for me that I actually learned from my mother is, she always believes that if your hair is set and your hair is done, you can get away with having no makeup or a mediocre outfit,” she said.
Another tip: don’t be afraid to cinch those curves.
“I love creating a waist with whatever you have,” she said. “You know, just getting, having that great belt that you love, finding a belt that fits you and really cinches you. I just think that that’s a great little way to feel, to put an outfit together.”
Asked about her target customer, she replied: “Oh, the modern day woman who wears many, many hats, but who always wants to look feminine and really wants to make the most out of her wardrobe for a very affordable price.
“Because although I’m fortunate enough that I can splurge on a dress if I wanted to, I just can’t do it.”

Mental Weight Loss

Think Thin
Is your mindset keeping you fat? Here's how a new attitude can help you think yourself thin.

Motivation to lose weight often hits an all-time high when the first buds of spring pop out, signaling that bathing suit season is not far behind. And while there's no getting around the need to exercise and eat healthier, long-term weight loss starts in your head. Experts say that having the right attitude can help you think yourself thin.

If you want to succeed at weight loss, you need to "cut the mental fat, and that will lead to cutting the waistline fat," says Pamela Peeke, MD, author of Fit to Live.  "Look at the patterns and habits in your life that you are dragging around with you that get in the way of success."

To Think Yourself Thin, Have Patience

One major mental block to weight loss is wanting too much, too fast. Blame it on our instant-gratification society, with its instant messaging, PDAs, and digital cameras: Weight loss is too slow to satisfy most dieters.
"Losers want immediate results. … Even though it took them years to gain weight, once they decide to lose weight, they have no patience with the recommended 1-2 pounds per week," says Cynthia Sass, MS, RD, a spokeswoman for the American Dietetic Association.

Think Thin
Get that overweight mentality out of your head and start thinking like a thin person.

Picture Yourself Thin.
If you want to be thin, picture yourself thin. Visualize your future self, six months to a year down the road, and think of how good you'll look and feel without the extra pounds. Dig up old photographs of your thinner self and put them in a place as a reminder of what you are working toward.  Ask yourself what you did back then that you could incorporate into your lifestyle today. And, advises Peeke, think about activities you would like to do but can’t because of your weight.

"To break old habits, you need to see yourself in a positive light.
