Heidi Klum Has a New Line for New Balance New Balance by Rankin
It’s (almost) time to shed the heavy layers and making way for less clothing. And if you need a little motivation to fasttrack your body from winter to summer mode, look no further than Heidi Klum. Once again, she’s partnered with New Balance to create high-performance wear that looks good and works well.
Her 2014 spring/summer collection recently launched online and ranges from a reasonable $40 to $120. It features everything from flattering floral prints and reflective detailing to compression-fit waistbands and breathable fabrics—and it gives us a good excuse to toss our old black leggings to the side.

TESTIMONIALS
“I have been in Corporate America for over 20 years and never have I come across a program that inspires and equips people to be and do their best in all aspects of their life. This program is a must for teams and individuals to achieve big goals.”
– Brandon Dangerfield, VP of Sales Operations, Fortune 500 Compan
_____________
“What would happen if companies allowed their people to dream, perform far above what they thought possible, and achieve economic security? Your program, Thinking into Results, has the potential to redefine the economic landscape for the world, provided people have an open mind.
Thinking into Results has greatly expanded my possibility space and I know my consulting practice will grow quickly because I see it growing in my mind. I have introduced this program to one of my premiere clients and though the “experiment” has just started, they will be a different company. The executive team has already changed and is thinking much bigger thoughts with much higher aspirations.
And to think this all started with my short unintended and unexpected meeting with Bob Proctor. I have never felt more alive and I suspect my client feels the same way.”

Continue Heidi Klum
We went one-on-one with the gorgeous supermodel to talk about the inspiration for her line, the moves that keep her in swimsuit-ready shape, and the one guilty pleasure she’ll never (ever) give up.
Shape: What inspired you to design active wear for New Balance?
Heidi Klum (HK): Having stylish workout wear is a way to inspire women to get active. I wanted to design clothing that would not only look good and perform well but also make women feel good when they are working up a sweat.
Shape: Tell us about the new collection.
HK: The spring collection is perfect for streetwear and the gym. I aim to bring the runway to the treadmill. I’m inspired by shapes, silhouettes, or details that you wouldn't traditionally find on performance wear. The line is inspired by the idea that fitness should be a daily part of everyone’s life.
Shape: What are some of your favorite pieces in the collection?
HK: The HKNB run jacket is perfect for my hikes in the canyons with my kids and dogs, and the dance legging is a new take—it has a built-in skirt that creates the layered look I love.
Shape: You're always in such amazing shape. What workouts would we most likely find you doing?
HK: I pretend it’s bikini season all year and regularly make healthy decisions. My favorite workout is a long run on the Westside Highway that stretches along the Hudson River in New York City—it's a beautiful path. You see the same people running every morning and they inspire me to keep going...that and knowing there is a Starbucks coffee at the end of the route!
Shape: Do you have any guilty food pleasure you'll never give up?
HK: I have a serious weakness for cheeseburgers. So, if I want a cheeseburger, I am not only going to eat that cheeseburger, I’m going to enjoy that cheeseburger!
Shape: What are your favorite songs to workout to?
HK: My three favorite right now are "I Need Your Love" by Calvin Harris featuring Ellie Goulding, "Happy" by Pharrell, and "Can't Hold Us" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. My kids also love a good dance party, so sometimes we turn up the volume and dance around together.
Shape: How do you balance workouts with a busy career and being a mom?
HK: I try to incorporate exercise into my daily life whenever I can—which requires some creativity. Sometimes I jump on the trampoline with my kids, take a hike with my dogs, or when I’m traveling, do a few sit-ups in my hotel room before I head to work.
